According to one Research Company the survey says, every five Software Development India deal is either failing or ending with order of termination.

According to report of diamondcluster's 2005 global Software Outsourcing, many number of clients terminating Software Outsourcing India deals. While, number of clients satisfied with the offshore outsourcing consulting services has decreased to sixty percent from 78 percent. One can not blame totally on the shoulders of Software Development India vendors but it could be also due to the clients. Many organizations are today using offshore outsourcing services since past few years, but yet they do not have effective gauge for succeeding in outsourcing business or deal. While the study of outsourcing, which included more than two hundred clients and 250 software development vendors . This research was conducted way back in year 2004 and in the beginning of year 2005. Now days IT Outsourcing budget of the organization involved from less then 5 to 500 million dollars, the study report also points in the direction that around ¾ th of software development India firms are expecting growth in offshore IT business.

Like wise seven percent of the outsourcing clients have mentioned that, they would decrease onshore work for the development of software project work as the Offshoring is cost effective and that is the most critical factor. While another five percent clients have mentioned that they might decrease outsourcing work from offshore centers. The other key factors that found in the survey are major concern for clients along with anti-outsourcing legislation worrsies.

For Software Development India firms, the bad news in report was now the world wide companies are showing good interest in China. More than 35 % of the clients have mentioned that, they are expecting to go with Offshore Outsourcing consulting for some part of the IT business to China in future 3-5 years.
